Biography
Jean moved to Andalusia in 1981 with her family; David, her husband, and Dave and Ben, their Sons.From the minute they arrived, they loved the little town with its tree lined streets, friendly neighbors, and access to shopping and schools in 5 minutes or less.
The boys could walk or ride their bicycles to school.The church they chose to worship God was within walking distance.A very interesting happening when Jean and her family moved into town.Jean went to the grocery store to buy groceries and got to the checkout and had forgotten her checkbook.To her surprise, the cashier told her, no problem, just bring your money the next time you come to the grocery store.No place but small town America would allow this.
A native of CalhounCounty, Al, where she lived all of her life, graduated from AlexandriaHigh School, (Home of the Valley Cubs), went to BusinessCollege and worked at FortMcClellan until she decided to stay home and have a family.
When she moved to Andalusia, she enrolled in LurleenB.WallaceJrCollege and earned an Associate Degree in Business.
Her Real Estate Career began in 1992 when she earned her licenses as a Alabama Real Estate Agent.This was a long awaited goal for Jean.She was committed to helping people find the American Dream of owning their own home.
In her commitment, she continues to achieve her professional goals by hard work, dedication and keeping abreast of the Real Estate Market.She has earned the distinguish Designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the Designation of Graduate Real Estate Institute, (GRI), and is an Accredited Buyer Representative, (ABR).She is member of the Residential Council, the National Association of Realtor and member of the Covington County Associate of Realtors, and is a Licensed Alabama Real Estate Broker.
On a personal note; Jean owes everything to her faith in God through her Lord Jesus Christ.Her favorite reading is the Holy Bible.She enjoys oil painting, cooking, and restoring her Old Victorian home built in 1906.
